We've been building since 2021.
We're just getting started.

The best partnership is one where you barely feel the seams.

Most dev shops want you to fit into their process. We built Ignicube around the opposite idea: that the best technical partnership is one where the client barely feels the seams.

We adapt to how you work. We over-communicate if you need it. We go quiet and deliver if that's what you prefer. We sprint to meet your deadline. We slow down to make sure it's right. Whatever it takes. That's the default setting here.

After five years and dozens of projects, that philosophy hasn't changed. What has changed is the tools available to us. AI-augmented development, agentic workflows, and intelligent data pipelines have made what we were already good at faster and more reliable still.

The team

Built by builders,
for builders.

Omair Shamshir is the Founder & CEO of Ignicube and a software engineer at heart, with 13+ years of experience building technology products from the ground up.

He started his engineering career in 2012 and has since worked with startups and technology companies across AI, healthcare, enterprise SaaS, energy, transportation, travel, and education, often joining teams at an early stage and helping build the technology that supported their growth.

His career includes working on products for Kyruus, Cresta, Volta Charging, Parade.ai, Lola.com, CareSolace, Open edX, Advanced Energy Economy, and several other technology companies.

Many of those companies went on to achieve significant milestones.

  • Cresta

Grew into an AI unicorn, reaching a $1.6 billion valuation after raising its Series C.

  • Volta Charging

Went public at a valuation of approximately $1.4 billion and was later acquired by Shell.

  • Kyruus

Grew into one of the leading healthcare provider-search and patient-access platforms in the US, serving a significant portion of the US healthcare market, raising more than $125 million in funding during its growth, and eventually being acquired.

  • Lola.com

Founded by KAYAK co-founder Paul English, raised significant venture funding from investors including General Catalyst, Accel and GV, established a major partnership with American Express Global Business Travel, and was eventually acquired by Capital One.

Across these companies, Omair worked hands-on as an engineer, building everything from large-scale data collection and processing systems to APIs, SaaS platforms, cloud infrastructure, real-time applications, and complex user-facing products.

Working inside startups at different stages, from small engineering teams to companies that eventually became unicorns, went public, or were acquired, shaped how he thinks about building software.

It taught him that great engineering isn't just about writing good code. It's about understanding the business, making thoughtful architectural decisions early, obsessing over the details users experience every day, and building systems that can survive what happens when the company succeeds.

That philosophy eventually became the foundation for how he built and leads Ignicube today.

Build like it's your own product.

Your workflow.
Not ours.

01

Async or Always-On

You set the communication cadence. Some clients want daily standups. Others want weekly summaries and a Slack channel they check when they feel like it. We match your rhythm.

02

Your Tools

We work in whatever project management system you use: Linear, Jira, Notion, Asana, a shared Google Doc. We don't force you to learn a new tool to work with us.

03

Your Definition of Done

Before we write a line of code, we align on what success looks like in your terms. And we don't stop until we're there.

The guarantee

We're confident enough
to prove it first.

Every new client relationship starts with a scoped trial project. We do the work. You evaluate the quality, the communication, the speed, and the fit. If it's not everything we've promised, you don't pay. That's not a marketing line. It's how we've built trust with every client we have.
